Rend Lake

Rend Lake lies in the heart of southern Illinois in Franklin and Jefferson Counties in a rural environment. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Louis District, manages Rend Lake, and 20,000 acres surrounding the lake. Rend Lake at normal pool covers 18,900 acres with 162 miles of shoreline, a maximum depth of 35 feet, and an average depth of 10 to 15 feet. More Lake Information
